How it's made: Shale Beads

So this is the process:
1. Collect raw shale
2.Cut into smaller pieces using a saw. To make a bead, first drill a hole in the shale so the chunk can be attached to the lathe shaft.
3. Start turning down chunk of shale in the lathe with a piece of flint or something similar to cut.
4. Ta da! Finished shale beads, no 2 are ever the same...
